Where it all
began
Interstate Outdoor Advertising's history spans more than
25 years of innovation. What began in Cherry Hill in 1984 with
prime outdoor advertising opportunities in the New Jersey,
Philadelphia and New York markets has quickly evolved into one of
the fastest-growing outdoor advertising companies in the
nation.
Growing up, branching out
In 2000, Interstate Outdoor Advertising reached a
significant milestone with the acquisition of R.C. Maxwell Company
- the earliest and most enduring outdoor advertising company in the
United States. This acquisition earned Interstate the title of
largest out-of-home advertising company based in the state of New
Jersey.
In 2004, Interstate expanded its comprehensive coverage to the
city of New Orleans, Louisiana, with advertising locations at the
New Orleans Superdome, the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and
on all major arteries into the city. To capitalize on the growing
market in Chicagoland, Interstate further enhanced its inventory
with an expansion into Illinois and Indiana in 2007.
Looking forward
Today, Interstate Outdoor Advertising is the most
progressive company of its kind with over 1,000 total outdoor
advertising locations. We introduce new products often and we take
advantage of growth opportunities through targeted acquisitions.
